There are hundreds of alphabet resources available on the internet.  I have chosen the simple drawings below, so that photocopying is not necessary.  The cost of ink, A4 paper and the time involved, makes endless photocopying a waste of resources.  Try and avoid it where you can.  Click on each picture to enlarge it for your interactive whiteboard.  Alternatively, draw the worksheet on your blackboard or flipchart.  Show the children how to form the letters and let them copy the pictures and practice writing the letters in their exercise books.  Don’t do more than one letter per day.

Scroll right to the bottom to find links to the websites where these resources were found.  You will find lots more amazing materials on these websites!

First, before you do anything else, check out this B-R-I-L-L-I-A-N-T website for teaching children how to form their letters using an animated pencil + sound backup.  If you have an interactive whiteboard in your classroom, you’re going to LOVE this! (Tip: click on the green arrow to find the good bit.)
